I need a new tree and this one looks nice except I don't really like the idea of pastel lights on a tree. I wonder if there is a way to not have the pastel come on?

if you look at the remote....there are different buttons to push....just don't push the one that says pastel....who knows....you may come to like the pastel....never say never....:0)

We need a new tree, but aside from the price, I'm not thrilled about the floor clearance. For me, the trees look way too high off the ground. If a 7 foot tree has a 2 foot clearance on the bottom, I don't consider that a 7 foot tree. That's a 5 foot tree on a really tall stand! If the branches were closer to the floor, I would be tempted, but it's a pass for me.

The height of the tree includes the stand; the stand does not add additional height. The question was asked and answered by the vendor online. Just FYI.

CAUTION! Ordered this tree last year - we loved the look and features BUT it did not work!! We called the company and did not find them very helpful - none of their suggestions Worked! They wanted to send a replacement PIECE instead of a new tree- we were Left scrambling to get a new tree right before Christmas - disaster !

A pre-lite tree as the TSV seems like a natural choice for QVC to do. I think it has a lot of nice options compared to the days when only multi and white were offered.

Well gazzelle77,seriously you know you are not missing something here. You are just posting true to form. But to respond ... Lots of us want a fake tree. Some of us have allergies and asthma and live trees inside can make us very ill.Spending Christmas in the hospital is not so merry...I have been there. Some of us are pet owners and cats climb real trees. Some are single and cannot do the live tree /tree stand process alone .Many are older and can't manage a live tree. And some don't want the watering, the needle drop and cleanup. Some don't want to string lights. Some travel the week of Christmas and find a fake tree is more practical since its not dead when they get home. And some are just lazy and want an instant tree. Should we not have a tree because ,the horror,it is not live? And as far as thinking about that old fake tree in JULY, some like to buy early because of their budget, sales, or who knows? But you know these things...you just like to stir the pot.

Re: Santa's Best Christmas Tree TSV...pros/cons...good/bad deal?

Purchased the Santas Best 5 ft Fraser Fir TSV last year; first artificial tree I ever had, being a fussy live tree aficionado. I am a 72 year old woman, did not want to be bothered with the mess, etc so I caved and got the Fraser since that is what I always buy live at Christmas. I handled it all by myself, really enjoying the ease of use and even more the beauty of the tree. I was so impressed with the tree, easy to setup and break down. The quality, authenticity and substance of the tree is superior. It has different light color selections with morphing option and flashing option. I did not think I would be interested in color since I prefer the clear lights, but really enjoyed playing with the colors using remote. The only thing I missed was the pine fragrance but I can get some pine candles this year. This tree saved me much grief and work and it really helped me enjoy the Christmas season last year. I highly recommend Santa's Best. Just purchased today the outdoor Santa's Best 4 ft tree.

did either of you purchase a tree bag and which one did you purchase....I looked at what the Q is offering there is either no reviews....or the reviews are not good....any help would be appreciated....I did purchase the five foot one at midnight ....thank you....

I got the Santas Best Fraser Fir 5 ft last year and bought the red bag they are advertising today. I got it because I get moisture in my basement and thought using the box might not be a good idea. There is a bit of room to spare in the bag, it is protected with ties in the bag, but it has wheels and works well for me. It is a but cumbersome but what wouldn't be with the bulk and length. Works for me!
