Thought the Rastelli family would be interested in being aware of what (sometimes) happens once the ordErs leave their facility! re UPS- I ordered pork product rcently (too old too cook!!!) Looked forwrd to getting it- Well first message said"out for delivery" on a Thursday-no del. Friday message via QVC "out for delivery" Then another message DELIVERED! I wondered if the order had been kept frozen- anyway-no delivery to my home. Called QVC and they were able to tell me the order han been left in our common mail room! How awful of UPS-producr in foam container-cleaarly labeled frozen food.I went there (on cane) to get it to the dumpster! Not easy for me. QVC was very kind in returning my $$s paid to that point then ton top off the mess I couldn't reorder as youn were sold out.

That's the way it is these days. I live on the 3rd floor. Delivery people open the front door to the building and drop the package.
Companies have found that if you skip delivery to the door you can jam in a whole lot more deliveries and it makes more money for them.
I get a prescription that is refrigerated. You have no idea how it annoys me to see "delivered to the mail room". It's a public lobby with no security where the mail boxes are located.

Heck, I live in a free standing home, but it's off the road.
Many UPS and FedEx drivers are now leaving small packages in my mailbox at the road so they don't have to come up to the house. I'd never know they were delivered if I didn't get an email.
Deliveries (especially undamaged packaging) are getting sketchy nowadays.

It's actually illegal for anyone to use a designated, official US Mail box for anything other than items sent to through USPS. You might want to advise FedEx, UPS they're in violation of the law. 8 feel sure drivers are advised of this since it almost never happens.

@MJJmjj03. Did you check the meat to see if it was still frozen? Even if not frozen solid it could easily have been chilled enough to be safe to eat.

@geezerette USPS competitors, such as UPS and FedEx, should not be using USPS designated mail boxes for their deliveries. Also, you're paying a lot more using UPS and FedEx and you shouldn't have to put up with sloppy service. I would report this to UPS and FedEx.

Yes, I know that and they do too.
And yes, I have.
