Why would they stopped showing TSV in advance on their website? It was very convenient. Just wondering what was the reason for it.

@li7775   we can only guess about their business decisions unless they actually state their reasons.

All I know for sure is that nothing will please all of us.  For many years the TSV wasn't available before midnight on its day and then they expanded access.  Btw, when they did that there were posts complaining that pre announcing and availability took away the excitement of the one day presentation and made for some sold outs before the actual TSV day.

I think it's a vast improvement. The TSV page looked too cluttered before and there was nothing special about it.

They never used to and it made more exciting.  Here on the west coast, 9:00 PM was the magic hour.

Personally, I don't see the benefit in withholding the advance notice.

I'm not much of an impulse buyer, and it makes me less likely to order.

I'll miss having the time to read item reviews here and at other sites, compare prices, make calls to check whether someone might be interested in this item as a gift, etc. 

I remember the griping threads when they switched to giving TSVs advance notice.

My turn to gripe now. Lol!

Still raining, I remember those days, the anticipation. We are the lucky ones with the TSV at 9pm
I don't remember back in the day if you didn't call ASAP the item would sale out!

My preference is a three day notice. That way a person can look at reviews of items like cookware and appliances.

Back in the day a lot of the offers were unique, exciting and different . Now same ole same ole. I rarely order any of the fashions and have moved on to other sites.

arabella, I agree the TSV's aren't as exciting. I still like Susan Graver line, Kim Gravel and some of D&C
I meant to say I do remember back in the day!

I think one of the reasons that TSV's aren't shown in advance is limited quantities. 
So many of the products that they show have extended shipping dates. Sometimes as much as a month before the items ship.

 I can't remember the last time I was excited about a TSV. 

Or if I see something I like, the price is no bargain.
