Please help - question about Denim & co TSV faux suede jacket?

Please help. I am 5'3 and in a wheelchair. I really like this jacket, but the 1x at 38 inches in length looks too long for me. I recently bought the Susan Graver TSV boucle jacket in black and that was 32 inches long, the bottom sat on my lap and it looked ok. this D & C jacket has 3 buttons, with bottom open. Do you think this will be too long for me, since I cannot walk and stand up? thanks. My guess is that it would be too long, I hate paying S & H fees to return items. thanks in advance for your help.

PS - I saw the presentation with the models this morning and they are tall, 5'7 and taller. I did not see any model my height, to get an idea. I saw picture of Carolyn Gracie and I think she is about my height. the coat looks long on her.
