QVC is as bad as he is, we already know it's all about the money for PTR or the products would be made in the states with no animal testing. There will always be cruelty in the world under the guise of protecting people. It seems as long as it doesn't affect you, people don't care if the eyes are burned out of the poor animals head to keep them looking young.

I found (1) long list that (even for me) shocking.  By mere event /accident that came up.  Hoping the same  results for anyone in the I want to know.

Is your company animal-cruelty free?

Peter Thomas Roth does not test any of our formulas or raw materials on animals but we believe in total transparency and will not claim that for the following reasons:

1. We cannot be certain that a raw material supplier has not now or at some time in the past tested an ingredient on animals. We do not knowingly purchase ingredients that have been tested on animals and inquire before purchasing ingredients but some staple ingredients that have been used in products for years may have been tested on animals in the past.
2. We do sell our products in China and some other countries that still do test on animals; though it is our understanding that China is moving towards stopping this practice. We are not alone in selling to China; nearly every major cosmetic company sells there. Also to be noted are that many major beauty retailers conduct business there including QVC and Sephora.

DO YOU USE ANIMAL INGREDIENTS?
Our collagen is marine derived and our elastin is bovine derived. Both are certified as BSC free (Mad Cow Disease Free). Mega-Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Crème, Mega-Rich Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Eye Crème, Camu Camu Power Cx30 Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask and Camu Camu Power C X 30 Vitamin C Brightening Serum are the only products in the Peter Thomas Roth line that contain collagen and/or elastin. SQUALANE
Peter Thomas Roth uses squalene from vegetables such as olives and sugar cane among others and not from animal sources.

HOW IS PTR ANIMAL CRUELTY-FREE IF IT USES A GOAT HAIR BRUSH?
The goat hair is a byproduct of the beef rendering industry and it is used by most industries ranging from painting to clothing including cosmetic ones.

DOES INSTANT FIRMX OR INSTANT FIRMX EYE CONTAIN SHELLFISH?
Neither product, Instant Firmx nor Instant Firmx Eye, uses ingredients that are derived or processed from shellfish. Therefore both products do not contain shellfish and animal derived ingredients.
