I RECENTLY POSTED A REVIEW STATING THIS DOES NOT WORK AND QVC CHOSE NOT TO PUBLISH IT. WHY DO THEY SELL A PRODUCT WITH SO MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS?
‎03-25-2019 06:58 PM
It’s pretty bad. Worse, is both QVC and HSN offered the same TSV.

Just guessing, but between what the parent company purchased and it being sold on QVC and HSN, they're probably losing a lot of money on this product.

Could you tell us more about why it didn't work for you? What did you experience?
I use it under my eyes and it works exactly as shown on TV and on QVC. I also use for lines along the side of my nose and mouth and works great, so it should work on wrinkles.
As for deep jowls, I don't know. It might not work as well, but photos show it does. I'd try it first before I'd believe that. It might help a little.
While it's no secret, the "secret" for using Plexaderm is following directions EXACTLY. Also, it turns white if using too much. In that case, wash off and start over. You also have to use a water based foundation and non-oily powder. It works best with no makeup.
I read the reviews. I think many were negative because they didn't follow directions. Some complained it turned white...they used too much. Also, there was a problem with the pump that the vendor did not tell everyone about. It needs to be primed 10-15 times for it to work. Many buyers complained and returned their bottles.
When the vendor says wait 10 minutes...wait 10 minutes without moving your face. No drinking coffee, eating breakfast, and talking. You don't need much for it to work. The QVC video shows how much to use. Again, those using too much will find it turns white on the skin.

Hmmm . . . I was under the impression they sold out of the original formula fairly quickly.
Then when they brought it back as the serum formula they went through the available stock very fast, and by the end of the day they were selling (oh heck what's it called??) future dates?
How is that losing a lot of money?
@Foxxee , yes heard the presenter explaining "less is more", too much will dry white, no movement for 10 minutes, clean face & oil free products, also about priming the pump on a new unit.
And the kicker was the complaints seemed to be coming from people who simply didn't follow directions.

It works very well for me. Just follow the directions, use a small amount, and really don't move your face for the full 10 minutes (might be the hardest part).

I'm still on the fence as to whether i will keep it. I've tried it several times and I think it works once you get the idea; however, after a few hours it looks like dry flaky skin. Is there a reason for this or do you think my skin is just dry.

I'm one of those that posted the it didn't work, but it was to late to send it back. So I tried it again. I didn't want the white film I had gotten from other products so I wasn't using enough. This time I used a little more and it worked. Just enough to get results but not to much to get the white film. Keep working with it until you find you sweet spot.

I really don't know why it is flaking. I put mine on about 8:30 this morning, did a 90 minute workout, and it still looks good with no flaking. I never have flaking.
You might try adding an eye gel (water based) to the Plexiderm. I sometimes do that with my Elemis. Even though my skin is completely dry when I put it on, I use a Kate Somerville retinol eye cream at night. Maybe the skin under my eyes is dry but still hydrated, and that might make the difference.

@SXMGirl thanks for the tips. I'll keep trying. I still have a couple weeks before my 30 day return time is up.
