When the new Skin Foundation Stick is receiving such rave reviews, offering a TSV in the old formula seems so dreary. I feel like these old formula compacts should be offered at a great discount and the new stick should be debuted today. I'd also like to see a promise of future compacts with the new stick and in more shades. I really don't see these limited colors adapting to different skin tones. I wear Warm Natural in the foundation stick. Natural is too light; Honey too dark. Do any of you really find that you can use a different color than your perfect match?

I couldn't agree with you more. She finally came out with the perfect shade for me in the new foundation stick - Cool Sand. Why would I buy the tsv with a less than perfect shade in the outdated formula?

IMO they are probably trying to unload the stock. Last year they offered the foundation stick in the TSV. Then early this year they announced the new skin foundation stick. I think they offered it in the TSV last year to unload the old ones.

My perfect match in both the old and new foundation stick is Warm Ivory. I do have the small compact in Sand and I can wear it. I actually do find it to be fairly forgiving. But I don't use a ton of it. I just use it on the spots where my skin needs evening out. Not sure how forgiving it would be if I used it all over my face.
