Well, Carolyn set herself up as an example of Nutrisystem.   She says that eats it and is always stocked up (1/2 of her shelving) with it to use.    So, if she looks good-----than the system works!

Unless Carolyn becomes a spokesperson for the brand we can't judge the system by her. She may use it as supplemental to other food she eats, or as something to have on hand in case she needs something in a pinch. The real way to judge a system is to try it for yourself so you know exactly how closely the program was followed.

I tried it once and did lose weight but could not tolerate the food. It is terrible. It is not edible. I probably lost weight because I could not eat it. I was on auto-delivery and sent the second order back and would never try it again. I can't believe Carolyn is on NS because yesterday during D&C she said she was wearing a size 16 in pants. I wonder how long she has been on this regiment. The only plan I ever lost weight on was Richard Simmons where you moved the cards when you ate. You only ate food that was what you would buy from the grocery store. It was very easy. I am sorry they no longer have this program. It was healthy and taught you how to eat.

Love the Simply Filling!  It's eating all CLEAN FOODS  until you feel satisified but NOT STUFFED! Smiley Happy

I tried Nutrisystem a few years ago.  It was AWFUL.  I sent it back (I'm not sure if I got it form QVC or another tv shopping network at the time) and wrote the reason for the return as being so bad that I'd rather be chubby.  Don't waste your time and money.  If Ms Marie thinks that this food is good, she and her mother and husbands and other family members must have been terrible cooks.  I wouldn't fee such stuff to my dogs.  Ugh. Sounds so much easier than actually think about and doing the work required to eat right, but there is no free lunch that tastes decent.

Tried it years ago.  Didn't like the food.

Just want to point out that it has a lot of soy product in the foods.  Soy makes me very uncomfortable, to say the least.Smiley Embarassed

The reason Marie fainted on Dancing With The Stars is because of the Brush Fires in California near where it is recorded.

She has terrible Allergies  and was having a hard time breathing due to the smoke and Ash in the air.

It was not due to NutriSystem.

If you want to loose weight Weight Watchers is the way to go. It’s not a diet. You can eat real food, it just shows you how and how much and the correct portions. It is the healthiest way to loose weight and you will keep it off. I went many many years ago and the program always stuck with me, back then you counted points and to this day I still use that system. I have maintained my weight for years, minus around the holiday I tend to gain 3 to 5 pounds but I loose the pounds by going back to my weight watcher roots. Honestly diets are temporary and most gain the pounds back. Weight Watchers is not a diet. I would try that before anything else. You can’t eat Nutrisystem forever. Weight watchers allows you to go to Restaurants and eat anything along it’s the correct portion. You would be amazed. It’s a great program and I hear it’s even better now.

Weight Watchers with meetings is the best way to go if you want a true lifestyle change.  I find that going to meetings helps to keep me motivated and accountable. I tried their online only option but it is too easy to stop counting foods.  You have to cook your own food so you can stick within your budget and don't rely on processef foods.
