Not the greatest gift for us older folks who are trying to take care of whatever teeth we have left!

Quite a big difference in price if you order only 5 instead of 10 apples. Feel foolish not to get 10 but I only want 5. I would think cost to ship 10 would be more than 5 but I guess not. I know shipping things that need to be shipped cold is expensive.

Well I was going to order these until I read the ingredients.

Sugar, sugar, and more sugar,  Oh, and how about some more sugar, carrageenan, GMO maltodextrin (aka sugar), hydrogenated palm oils, and sunflower oil?

@Chiefsuperfan - Did you see the nutrition label, that a serving is only 1/4 of an apple?  And in that 1/4 of an apple there are 23 grams of added sugar over what naturally occurs in the actual fruit?
23 grams is close to 6 tsp. of sugar.

(eta - correction of added sugar in teaspoons)

I always like the idea of these to give as side gifts however, I only have on fridge and around the holiday its full as it is, can't imagine storing all these apples until I give them as a gift.

Ha - yes I don't imagine Laurie Shore herself eats many of them.  She just gives them to other people. Smiley Happy

Once I saw the ingredient deck I was totally turned off.

Take a plain GS apple and cut in small pieces, eat one choc chip with each piece, I do this all the time and am very satisfied, a lot less junk and excess calories and sugar.

@Shelbelle I like your idea.

I prefer their Pink Lady caramel apples which aren't offered until December. They taste better.
