Just rcvd my email for Monday's tsv. Have you seen it? It's a 5 pc Jockey's seamless undergarments collection, 5 color combos for $53+, 2 easy pays $26.00. This contains 2 boy shorts (like their pc of 2 that tons of you rave about), 1 adjustable strap cami, 1 tank, 1 pr regular undies. blk/ivory, blk/nude, blk/soft pink, blk/mocha, navy/nude

All in all looks nice. Descrip says these give you some shaping. For those of you who do wear & enjoy the Jockey shorts, pls report on how you really like them. I don't have these so I'm really interested to know your take on these. Thanks!

Interesting. It works out to about $12 per item, all told.

Re: Monday's accessories tsv

I have the Skimmies and like them, with a few qualifications. I purchased them with the hope that they weren't a shaping garment and they do not shape, only smooth. I once tried the Spanx brand - NEVER AGAIN - and found that the Spanx were suffocatingly tight, created a ring around my leg where they stopped, and were very hot to wear. The Skimmies are better, but keep in mind that this is still a synthetic fiber and so they aren't as breathable as cotton and probably not the best thing to wear in very hot weather.

They also DO NOT double for a slip if you are wearing a pencil skirt. The fabric isn't that slippery, and so a sweater knit or ponte knit will cling a little bit and may ride up while walking.

If you can use the Skimmies, cami and tank only, I think this is a pretty good value. I suspect the cami and tank are not tight, either.

I think this set has more spandex than plain Skimmies. Somewhere I thought I saw them called Slimmies versus Skimmies. Could be imagining things. The description says they have a 360 degree control panel (whatever that means) and more spandex (15%) at the top than at the bottom (6%). The pics show a band at the top where regular Skimmies are one piece of fabric. Looks like nice color combos.

I'm interested in this, but unsure on sizing. For the top sizing guide their bust measurement runs smaller than what is typically associated with the letter or numerical sizing. Not sure if I should order my typical size or go up to accommodate the bust measurement.

Re: Monday's accessories tsv

I ordered the size large in the black/mink combination. I am 5'2" 135 lbs 37 chest and generally wear a medium but sometimes a large in certain items. I love the Jockey brand and buy their undies and camisoles all the time from Kohls and usually do eel with my kohl's cash and additional discount. But this package is a good offer for the five pieces. I always take into consideration, a slight amount of shrinkage after washing and I always hang my delicates to dry.

Re: Monday's accessories tsv

This is a great set for colors and value, but why oh why did they mess with success?

Those shorts bottoms are NOT Skimmies. The benefit of the Skimmies is that they have no horizontal seam or hem on the leg, and they are slightly longer. In fact, the Skimmies is totally seamless, while these shorts have seams everywhere. You can see the seam on the leg of those shaping shorts across the room. so it is pretty clear to me that the seam will be visible through clothing. Oh well. I didn't need to buy anything, anyway
