Re: Lock N Lock TSV September 1, 2024

I just bought a Vintage Tupperware pastel canister set. My husband & I own a 1957 tri-level home. I remodeled my kitchen to have a bit of that 50's vibe (without going overboard though.) We put in white with subtle grey speckled formica countertops and slab front cabinet doors. Yes, formica, not granite, quartz, or whatever the popular counter top is now.

I already have so much Lock N Lock. I don't need anymore. If you're just starting out, I would recommend this big set. Lock N Lock makes good containers.

Can anyone describe the color Pearl? That is the only one they are not showing the container top? I would really like to know , as I called CS. Apparently they have the same information we do. Would be so helpful, as hoping there is something more, like on the Cinnamon color ,it is more than just white. TIA

I'm not interested in plastic.  I've eliminated all of the plastics in my kitchen.

It is a pretty cream color. Like a pearl, but no sparkles. The picture online is accurate.

Pyrex seems to be mostly made in North Carolina BUT Rubbermaid containers come from China too. We have to check more than ever now, as America seems to be relying on imports as a whole, more than ever. Make sure you read the small print.

My original LL&L from years ago is relly showing its age; they all seal just fine but would like some new ones; I just wonder if the quality of these new ones will be as long-lasting as my old clear ones. I use pyrex also, but never fill my pantry with glass. Would love the pearl ones.
