@Beejayb I don't like lobster but I sure as heck would never buy it online from **anyone**.

@Beejayb  The tails are 4 oz.. They sometimes sell larger tails. Here in SE PA, we have access to live lobsters most of the year. My kids and grandchildren prefer to have whole steamed lobster. Some like the claw meat better than the tail (I do). Also, my DS and DH love to eat the "tamale."  My SIL has lobster tails for my brother's b'day. I just don't think they have the same flavor as the freshly steamed whole lobster. If you don't live in an area where you can get live lobs, this may be a good choice. I would check with your local grocery store to see if they have frozen Maine lobster tails and what is the price.

It looks good, but I always order live Maine lobsters on line and have them sent to me overnight,

Fresh is better than frozen, but all lobster is delicious.  It's even better if you go directly to Maine to purchase it at a Lobster Pound.

I love seafood...yummm

I live on the Jersey shore. Right by Seaside Heights. so I'm going to pass. You're right if I can get fresh here why do I want frozen!

I love lobster but refuse to order from QVC.  Just too expensive.  I purchase at local Butcher/seafood stores at a lower cost.

I love lobster but would not buy ANY food from TV.  And of course it's way overpriced.

No Way.  Admittedly I am a lobster snob.  The ONLY time I will eat it is when we visit Maine or Mass. or other New England states.  We have been fortunate to buy whole live lobsters right from a fishing village and when I saw the TSV prices I almost choked on my coffee this morning.  We bought 4 whole fresh from the water lobsters for a grand total of $26.00.  Granted that was about 5 years ago but we are going in 2 weeks so it will be interesting to see how prices are this year.  They vary from day to day...

I can't help but wonder how long it will be before global warming destroys the fishing for lobster as it has ruined the crab industry off the Alaskan Coast?  Those species all depend on very cold water.
