I got an email this morning that the Maverick La-Z-Boy power recliner is backordered and they may not be able to fill the order. Has anyone else had this happen and have any of you had this chair delivered as promised?  I am soooo annoyed by this. Why in the world would they let people place orders for chairs that aren't even made yet  and why are they still available online for someone to order. Makes no sense.

@redhed848.  Depending on where they're made, they may be in tariff limbo.  I think we can no longer depend on anything coming from any foreign country.  They order in good faith but the manufacturers apparently don't have to deliver.

La Z Boy HQ is here in MI.

My guess would be that while the chairs are made here, the fabrics are imported. No controling those costs lately so the fabrics may not be available to the factory at the prices originally promised.

The TSV's are scheduled many months in advance.

Well, my Just Bagels A/D has gone to backorder and I don't think that's an issue of things being imported, but I could be wrong!

Maybe they're just overselling things lately?

I suspect there are a fair number of spices other ingredients that are imported. And then there is the problem of workers....

@Bhvbum - They're lemon-blueberry bagels, so I don't think there's anything too exotic in them.  They're processing my current order for raspberry bagels.

I think they just get overwhelmed with orders and something has to be put on backorder.  In this case, my A/D, that was a lower price.  JMHO.

@Snowpuppy  Numerous times I heard the rep say that the chairs are "assembled" in the US, so I think everything might be imported.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I totallly understand what everyone is saying about the parts being imported but the point I'm trying to make is....why does QVC let people order chairs when they aren't already made and available to ship and why do they keep taking orders for more chairs on the webite when they can't fill the orders they already have!
