I always get our adult kids random bonus gifts at Christmas. Usually some gadgety type thing gets included. I especially like it if I can get sets like this to split up. I'm ordering.

This is the latest version where the closing latch works very well. I have these and love them. Got another set.

The best Thanksgiving turkey I ever made was when I spatchcocked it with these scissors. I could not have done that safely with any other tool. I had never heard of spatchcocking, but generally you cut the turkey in half lengthwise and spread it flat on a big deep cookie sheet to bake. It finishes in pactically half the time and the outside is perfectly brown and the inside is still juicy and done all the way through. I love that these scissors are food-safe.

This year I broke up with my long-term bf. (Good riddance.) When I packed up a few of my belongings I had at his house, these scissors were one of the things he whined about the most that he would no longer be able to use. Buddy, I know where you can buy your own, lol. Seriously this is probably a great gift for a man or a woman.

@Qgirl26 These scissors came back in stock last week and a lot of people ordered it at full price, especially because somebody posted about them being back in stock on the Kitchen forum.

You need to call QVC customer service Wed and ask for a price adjustment. They can't refund your card until it ships out, because your card hasn't been charged until it ships. But tell them to make a note of it in your order, and then you'll have to call back a second time after it ships to get your credit card refunded for the difference in price. They may be able to offer you store credit now even if it hasn't shipped yet, not sure.

Good luck and I'm sorry you had this hassle. It was really STUPID of QVC to post this item early at full price. Makes me think maybe it wasn't really planned to be a TSV? Maybe it was supposed to be something else that wasn't in stock yet, and they put these scissors in its place? Who knows. I think they did the same early-posting at a higher price thing with the Tatcha Grand TSV.

Interesting ... I got 3 Cornish Hens for Thanksgiving and was thinking I'd spatchcock one of them to see how it turns out. lol

Yes, once they ship, the social team can issue the credit. I got some on eBay last week, I believe last years version. $2 higher than the TSV (with the eBay shipping), but glad I got them. At least the TSV is free shipping as well. Get your credit requested everyone!

Yes, I've never seen them as a TSV. Haven't seen the Primula mugs with as a TSV either this season.
