Re: Joan Rivers TSV - June 27, 2025

@Susan Louise Did you hear Bitsy say the tank is form-fitting and you might want to size up?

@TheMemphisVette. I agree, the gray is pretty. It would look great with my gray jeans. I hope I don't cave on this TSV.

@scrapperlisa   Yes, I couldn't miss that the tank is VERY fitted...almost looks like something from Spanx. I don't wear those types of garments.

Bitsy looks like she has a larger chest than me so it makes sense she sized up to a medium. I want to add too that it looks like she has gained a bit more weight fairly recently. I remember when she was thinner and wearing a XS or a S about 4-5 years ago. There are images online of her more trim than she is now. She looks like she is currently between a S & M.

I can see the difference in her face and upper arms the most. There were a few recent JR shows that she said she was wearing a size medium because it was more comfortable too.

I am between a XS & S - and a 4 or 6 depending on the brand/garment. For example, I mentioned on a thread I posted in the fashion forum that the Jennie Garth gingham tops I got them in a XS and the fit is perfect. The item # is A664762.

Why am I bringing up the info on the JG top? So folks can look at that size chart and see that I can fit into an XS with my chest measurement. Additionally it will show the HUGE difference between those measurements and this JR tank top.

According to the size chart, the chest measurements for the small tank top is 33"...and I'm a 38B...what's up with that?  dahblink.gif

That would usually fall under a size XXS!  SMH

I did wind up putting it in my wishlist and I'm just going to risk it selling out and wait til reviews start being posted. It will probably be highly likely there will be several 'as is' in the future.

I love the honey color but don't want a fitted tank...ugh. So I'm going to update my previous post.

Bitsy does a great job modeling all of the colors.! She always looks great the way she styles the clothes.  I love watching her,  she has a fun personality!

However, I'm not in the market for another long sleeved blouse at this time.  A pass for me.  I hope Joan Rivers has a few other new items.

It's pretty but I just bought 3 other long-sleeve shirts, but soft sounds good, maybe I'll break down. What I really must get is that Joan/Leah hoop earring.

I love the more streamlined cut of this JR shirt, and the grey and honey -- beautiful colors!

Re: Joan Rivers TSV - June 27, 2025

Well I caved and love Joan fashions and really like the gray.  I like the olive as well but stuck with gray to match some pants I have.  I will wear more towards fall.

Size is what throws me and for my bust size I would take an xxsmall in this but I went with the xsmall an hope I made the correct decision.  Sometimes xsmall and sometimes small and depends on the bust measurements of garment.   But I think xxsmall would be too tight so taking a chance.  I hate exchanging because never have the item you want to exchange with.

I really like this one.

It is 100% cotton and that means a hot iron is needed. Shrinkage? Questions  posted on the above haven't been addressed yet so guessing.

It is cute,  I do like the colors and prints. I have a closet full of long sleeve shirts I rarely wear any more. I wore them alot when I  worked.  Now I wear easy care knits. A pass for me.

Wow, this TSV isn't available to ship until July 7.

Nothing says 99 degrees summer fashion like a long-sleeved shirt.

The best part of this TSV is Bitsy. I always enjoy watching her.

The coral color and the print is pretty. But not what I want at this time of year. And not on Advanced order.

Is anyone going to buy this?

It's going to be 115 next week. Couldn't wear this until maybe Thanksgiving if I'm lucky. I'll pass.

I like the softness of this shirt, but the overall print looks like too much for me. It would be something to wear in the cooler weather, for sure. Glad it does not have the button tab on the sleeve. I will be passing on this, but enjoy if purchased.

Re: Joan Rivers TSV - June 27, 2025

I am tempted... I use long sleeve shirts like this for layering often, I'm always chilly-

But in several photos the fit just looks baggy and not flattering- Not sure what color, I live in jeans so I'd probably go with blue but I like the punch color! Enjoy!
