@docsgirl   Lucky you for having such a talented mom and a traditional shirt that will always be in style!

I took a chance and purchased the olive. I liked the look of the shirt and hope it doesn't wrinkle. I have other denim shirts that are all cotton, and they do not wrinkle after washing. If this one does, it will go back. I like that it does not have a big chest pockets, but instead pockets on the side that you can actually use.

Bitsy is OK but David was fun to watch

@jackthebear - I miss David also.   Nothing against Bitsy, but I always enjoyed Davids' presentations.  It would have been nice if he came back just to present this TSV.

I have several items from the JR line -- shirts, dresses and "nice" jackets.  I find them to be well made and hope this TSV is also.  I purchased the ginger shirt last night.

It's 100% cotton, no stretch. I see a wrinkled mess.

And.................cotton shrinks!

FYI.........It's absolutely normal for clothes made from 100% cotton to shrink, especially if they haven't been pre-shrunk. Pre-shrunk cotton will generally only shrink 2-5%. Non pre-shrunk cotton, on the other hand, can shrink as much 20% if you're not careful

Love denim shirts...this is a classic look and always looks great with a white tee and jeans.  I just bought a traditional blue wash denim tencel (very soft hand) at TJMax for $25...love it.  I think the TSV is a winner...love the length!

If the TSV was tencel, I would have bought it.

I have several of the older boyfriend shirts and those were really oversized.  I also have A554232 from last October.  I think it's the same one that Courtney was referring to last night when she said she owned a similar version but it had more seaming, etc.  It is a really nice shirt.  I just now looked up the fabric content and it's 100% cotton.  I went with my true size and it was perfect.

I do tend to baby my clothes so I'm not sure how it would do if I had washed in hot and dried all the way on high heat, but I wash on cold, put it in the dryer for just a few minutes to remove any wrinkles, and then hang to dry.  I never have to steam it.  If I didn't already have that shirt, I would get this one.

Way too big for me ...Q makes everything over sized. No thanks.

I love the simplicity of this shirt and would totally get it
if it had just a small touch of Spandex (1%) for give/stretch.

I really like these washed colors & had a hard time picking just one. I ended up ordered the Olive but the plum & ginger both tempted me, too.

I have some cotton denim shirts and never find it necessary to iron them. I doubt I'll need to iron this one either.
