Although I'm not buying this TSV, I have his version from last year and love them.
I think the typical buttons and banding on polo shirts is what gives them a bad name. Just my opinion. Those look much more masculine, or like they should only be worn on the golf course. I've never owned a typical polo shirt.
The simplicity of just a split neck polo (should be called a collard top), with no bands, is more wearable to me.
I do agree that repetitive offerings of all of the Pima tops/t-shirts is getting very boring.
