Is the TSV good to cover gray roots that are growing in?

I have oodles of hair, (thanks to Wen), but my hair grows fast and I wondered if this product can also be used to cover roots?

Re: Is the TSV good to cover gray roots that are growing in?

I tried this product to cover grey hair that grows in too fast! I too have tons of hair. (not a WEN fan)

Here's my experience:

1) The product stinks -actually smells awful

2) It breaks up so easily and becomes hard to use. Breaks into pieces in that plastic case.

3) It does not cover grey hair on the side of your face. It's very messy. I use hair mascara. Not great, but I've tried everything.

Good luck!

Yes it can...that is what I use it for. I have been able to stretch out my color from every 5 weeks to every 7-8 weeks.

It doesn't wear off, even when exercising and lasts FOREVER.

Unlike the other OP, I have never had it break into pieces...maybe she dropped it? I have also used it for brows, in a pinch.

It doesn't smell AT ALL.

This is an ingenius, affordable product...you'll wonder how you got by without it!

I used to use it to cover gray between root touch ups. What I didn't like was it stuck to my scalp (which is what it is suppose to do) I found I lost my part, but it was better than looking like a skunk for a week. It does last FOREVER.

WOW is so much better. It clings to your hair and not your scalp.

The JR products is dark, even the blond.

YES!! I love this stuff and that's exactly what I use it for. It's not messy, it's easy to use and it has no smell whatsoever. I bought it and tried it on my mom and she LOVES it too! It lasts forever and it's easy to take along in your purse. It's great to use between colorings. It's a good price for comparable products and it's quite a bit of product. I haven't tried anything else that I would re-purchse. I would buy this again. I bought mine about 1.5 years ago and still don't need to buy more. I might get the TS because it will last awhile and the price is good.

I've been using it regularly since the last TSV. Mine does *not* smell, and did not break or crumble at all. It does cover grays-I use it primarily for grays at my front hairline, temples, and around my ears.

It works very well for me, and I will repurchase when needed. HTH

I use the blonde for gray coverage too. It works great, especially for the temples where the gray grows in first. It hasnt broken and it has zero smell.

I got it on sale at BB&B, the TSV is a great deal for 2 compacts and the touch up with the brow color.
