I love a good humidifier. This TSV takes up a lot less space than their last oblong TSV. You might be able to find a cheaper one on amzn, but this brand has never failed me and this version has a lot of features. Top fill makes it so easy. If I use distilled water, I almost never have to clean it.

I am tempted, but don't need one right now. I also love mini humidifiers that I can take to work and put in my tiny work area.

It is pretty but seems seems like a smaller capacity than my current one.  I would have to check though.  The one I have works fine though, so I see no reason to replace it at the moment.  I might use the white noise feature, but I do have that on my alarm clock although limited to 60 minutes.  I would never use the light feature.

I love the light feature. But when they demoed the white noise, I thought it sounded horrible. Maybe it sounds better in person? Sometimes I use a free white noise app on my phone that has about 100 different choices of noise.

Re: HoMedics TSV - November 25, 2025

I bought the oval one a couple of years ago. I also gave one to my daughter for Christmas. I don't know if they've made improvements from the oval ones, but I never played the sound. It kept droning in an endless loop. It became so monotonus. I used distilled water & descaling tablets in it, but it still broke in less than a year. It started putting out a huge amount of steam. No matter how low I adjusted it, it still shot out enough steam to leave a mess on my table. Then it just stopped working altogether. My daughters one still works though.

I bought the 1st HoMedics Fireside oval one couple years ago and it still works good.

Last year I bought the 2nd HoMedics Fireside oval one and it quit working last month.

I didn’t like the different sounds it had at all. And because it was larger than the 1st model it did run for a longer duration, which was nice.

I recently bought the $39 Airvana Aquaflame Color Changing Ultrasonic Humidifier and it’s my favorite !!

As far as I am concerned  Worst demonsrations ever

Not one time did the Rep or Host show the inside of obe. They were so amused with colors and  all filled with water & light show...  Despite being antimicrobial , you still have to get inside and wipe away the film that forms after a while . Also it has to be dried before storing if not in use.

No I did not buy one . Have 2 of the models from a few yrs ago .
