We are probably one of the few in the world who doesn't have one of these.

Is this a good deal?  Are there better alert systems out there?

Opinions please......

I only hear good things about Ring. It's $189.00 over at Amazon, so $129.00 seems to be a good deal.

I have Blink so I can't give you any feedback on how Ring works. Blink works for what I need it for. No fancy bells and whistles like Ring has though.

Sorry about that, @elated .  It is a TS presale on HSN.  Item 834-035.

We have the older type wired system that is monitored by the alarm company.  It's a local company that's been around forever.   I have friends that have Ring and they seem to like it.  I would be uncomfortable these days without an alarm system.

I don't have a Ring, and many of my neighbors don't. We have the old fashioned company monitored alarm system.

I have 3 ring doorbell cameras, and 2 spotlights.  Just bought the $129.00 spotlight from HSN for a unmonitered space in the rear of my driveway/backyard.  I would feel totally unprotected without them now, since I live in the city of Cleveland Ohio.  They work great (unless the internet goes down, and then it makes me crazy!).  Plus I have ADT door/window monitered service.  I'm very overprotective of my animals.

I have 2 Ring doorbell cameras and they’re the older model, but we love them. Like someone said, as long as your WiFi is good, it’s an awesome thing to have. I honestly couldn’t imagine being without nowadays. And I think that we got ours from QVC several years ago for $159.00 during a Black Friday sales event.
