After the year is up will I still have access to my Microsoft Word, Excell etc.?

The TSV is offered with a one year subscription for the $50 price difference. You will only continue to have access if you pay more. Not a good deal IMO.

Microsoft Office 365 is a paid subscription to the Office applications. The version you get on the TSV is the Office 365 Personal - you can also install it on one tablet. The annual subscription is $70 starting the second year. It is the equivalent of Office Pro one-time purchase for $400. If you don't need all the applications, Office Home & Student one-time purchase software runs from $140-$220.

You can compare the Office 365 and the Office one-time purchase on the Microsoft website.

You can download and use Open Office, a free word processing program.
