Just a thought. I think the home page shows that this deal is good for 10 days? This gives time to compare to other sellers like Best Buy etc. Just be sure to compare all of the components.
It looks like a good deal to me but I'm not expert.

That's a lot of money to spend on a piece of tech that will be outdated five years from now only to be left having to buy a new device when that time comes around.

@SilleeMee That is with all electronics. You buy the newest and greatest and something better comes out the next year. I don't keep up with all of that. I buy and use it until it doesn't work anymore and buy a new one.

Understandably so. I like to keep my computer current just to have the security of it since most of my important files are kept there. I would hate for that to be compromised by using an outdated device. That's important to me.

As long as it is a version that is still supported by your brand you should have security no matter how old it is

That's not true. Old hardware cannot handle new security software updates. The updates will still load but not to the fullest extent to provide complete security protection. Security updates and the hardware becomes incompatible with modern security features.

Can you tell me why not? I have compared prices, even went to Best Buy and questioned the bundle. They had nothing bad to say and even admited price was good.
This is a good computer per a best buy employee

@SilleeMee How often do you purchase a new computer? I have had mine for 4 years and wonder if I should purchase a new one even though there is nothing wrong with it.

I replace my Windows desktop about every 6 or so years. I replace my Chromebook when it expires. Chromebooks come with an expiration date b/c they stop updating after that date. Since these things expire so soon, I never spend a bunch of money on them. They are somewhat 'disposable' devices.
Windows laptops have a shorter lifespan, usually around 3 to 5 years.
