I don't know which is worse...Emeril selling cookware on QVC after he couldn't sell it on HSN...or David gushing (later today) about how superior the line is to Cook's Essentials (or any other line he gushes about)! ...and I'm quite sure if Mary Beth doesn't already own this set, she will before the day is over...guess freebies are a perk for contradicting yourself at every turn!

Remember, they are just SALES PEOPLE and nothing more.

A shopping channel is selling products. What a concept.

I'm always surprised by posts such as this. Does one really expect that the hosts will do anything less than "gush" over the products that are required to present? I would guess that if they show less than enthusiasm during their presentations, that is likely to reflect on the potential length of their career at QVC. JMHO.

Not buying cooking sets from the Q anymore, specifically Cook's Essential. I purchased 2 sets from the Q, and both scratched pretty badly with just a few uses. I'll just go to my local Costco store next time when I am in need of any cookware.

Knowing that the TSV is aired often throughout the day, why would you watch something you're tired of hearing about?

Shopping channel show hosts are sales people, nothing more and nothing less. And their "shows" aren't shows. They are sales presentations. Good grief. After 30 plus years, one would think everyone understood that by now. I suppose when hosts say "I own that in three colors", there are people who believe them.

Hotshot.....are you sure Emeril couldn't sell cookware on HSN? I certainly bought alot from him on HSN and I've now followed him to the Q. He just had a pressure cooker TSV 2 weeks ago (I love it) and he's back with another TSV so he must be selling SOMETHING or they wouldn't have him back so soon.

And, if it comes in colors, Mary Beth will have a set in every color.
