I wish they would have an unscented option. I have gotten the smaller size a few times and love the way it moisturizers and my make up can go on top of it. I don’t even mind the smell that much, but it is very strong. One time I walked into a meeting a little late and one of the ladies started having some sort of asthma attack or something. She said it was a strong scent of perfume that she just noticed. I don’t wear any perfume. It was my Elemis moisturizer that she noticed when I walked into the room. I just can’t do that to people, if it is such a strong, irritating scent.

I am so tempted, because I love this. It really works better than what I have now, but I really don’t want to have a strong scent about me.

Thank you for this....I was thinking of ordering but cannot tolerate fragrance; for the life of me I don't know why cosmetic companies need to add fragrance to skin care and makeup....very frustrating.

@Karie2022. Having that much fragrance in skin care is not necessarily good. And the smell of Elemis lingers long after you put it on. I use Biossance which when you put it on has a wierd smell but immediately goes away. Also Peach and Lily and Kopari. All clean beauty and fragrance free and good things in it. To me Elemis is all hype. And it says it’s imported not made in Uk. The Q seems to put imported when it’s manufactured in China. But I’m just guessing.

You are so correct in your statement about the fragrance.  I purchased it only once and within just a minute of putting it on my face I felt queasy and had to wash it off.  

I even have a funny story of how my guinea pigs reacted to it. After I removed it from my face the scent was still on my hands.  I walked into the room to clean their cage and they instantly ran into their little tunnel and wouldn't come out.  They have very sensitive respiratory systems but have never reacted like this from any other skin care product that I've used.  I had to wash my hands several times before they would even let me touch them.  

You know it's strong when an animal also hates the scent.  It might be a great product but that fragrance is just so over-powering that I couldn't even tolerate it long enough to find out.

I was finally able to order this.  Interesting that some of you find the scent unappealing.  I don't smell anything! 😂

@mnmom I don't notice it either, and I can be sensitive to fragrances especially if they hang around.  I use the extra rinse on my washing machine to get the extra scent out of my clothes.  I did buy and Elemis serum last year that, to me, was overly scented though

It didn't sell out.  Glad I didn't fall for the hype this time, tho I was tempted.

That's strange. I ordered around the same time with no problem. So weird. Maybe they didn't really all sell out but called it a day.
