I have an older Dyson that was gifted to me that's so heavy and cumbersome that I dread using it. Since they last forever, I'm guessing I'll forever have it. The suction is great. It was a replacement for an old Shark that I thought was doing a good job, it wasn't! I question whether the suction would be as good as my electric one but it would be nice to have something that wasn't so difficult for me to use.

@Carolina925, I didn't own a Dyson, but I had another brand of stick vaccumn. It was very cumbersome because it was top heavy. It felt unweldy & it made my wrist & hand sore. I hated that thing more than any other vac I ever owned.

Just ordered it, this makes Dyson Stick #4. We have been having issues with our oldest stick that we keep in the motorhome.... this came on last night. Perfect timing!

They said today that 1500 have been ordered. My response to that was, "Doesn't everyone that watches QVC already have a Dyson Stick Vac, since they do a Dyston Stick Vac TSV once a month, it seems."

I posted the TSV info on the FB motorhome groups I belong to, (one has 24,000 members the other has almost 9,000) and many of them are checking it out. Most of have cetral vacs but nearly no one likes using them because they are a bear to empty so many turn to Dyson sticks. Since I posted it about a dozen have said they bought it.

I already have a Dyson that is mounted to the wall.  I love the Dyson so I was thinking of purchasing the free-standing holder for it.  I went to both the Dyson website and Amazon to look at the reviews.  They definitely weren't very favorable.  

Many people who purchased them said they were cheaply made and very wobbly once assembled.  

After reading the reviews I decided keeping mine mounted to the wall was the best idea.  

It's a shame because a free-standing holder is a great concept. It's too bad considering the cost of a Dyson is far from inexpensive that they couldn't have put more money and thought into making an item that would pair well with their costly machines.
