Re: Dr Denise vs Perricone

[ Edited ]

@tennisbabe

Smell of the neuropeptide creme is so slight I'm shocked anyone mentions it, plus it's gone in 30 seconds.

More importantly, as a scientist, I know that the smell is a result of the chemicals WE NEED to have a dermatological effect. So I delight in it (slight as it is). When companies use perfumes to disguise smells, it hurts the product. When there is no smell at all it's often because the ingredients are not that effective.

We want an EFFECTIVE creme. This is it.

Check out the website Beautypedia for reviews of their products as well as other skin care and make up lines.

Both good.  Used both.  If they did want they say they do, I would not have started botox and fillers in my 70,s.  Will be 81 in two months.  My skin great looking because of mostly DR.D, but even she had work done.

For me, the Perricone line is far superior.  It's one of the few lines that has actually given me results.  I try a lot but Dr P is my core line of choice.

As mentioned, it may vary with skin, age, useage.

However, I use Perricone. I'm a researcher and check out all reviews on blogs by dermatologists and other experts.

One point is that Perricone has a MUCH wider distribution (sales) both in the country and worldwide, Denise much smaller and for a shorter time. For me, that is some indication of #s of people who have had a chance to post reviews and experience the product.

       @1Professor,

         Thank you for this information.

 I had posted in BEAUTY, then your yours, here, in 'TSV'.

    "believe you had answered my question to some degree; I did want to know if anyone had sensitive skin, though. I can NOT use Dr. D in the 5 pc set that was offered in 2014. The HydroShield was very irritating and her Dream Cream caused a rash".

 I am considering the AD on the 1 basis; a friend who loves this for her neck, which I have no problem with and certainly am using quality products found true for me as [trial and error] compatible.

As mentioned before several times,here, I have very good skin and hope to maintain the TONING as a keeper ...just as long as I can.

This special appears to be a very nice special; have not seen in it at any counter cosmetic display.

The face cream contains parabens. No thanks. Too expensive.

Also check and see if he tests on animals.

I'll stick with Burts Bees facial cream. Great stuff.
