@scrapperlisa

Thanks for letting us know about the gram weight. They did this necklace earlier this year (in sterling!): it's J-446062 and debuted on February 12.

This one today, however, has an increased gram weight. The earlier necklace is 7.5/8.0/8.5g and this one is 11.5/12.5/13.8g. The bracelet gram weights for February's are 2.8/3.0/3.2g and for today's the weights are 4.8/5.0/5.4g.

I didn't realize silver prices had soared so much. I couldn't understand why a piece of silver jewelry had to be clad. I've purchased clad jewelry through the years and have never been happy with them, most of the clad eventually wore off. I'll not be purchasing any clad bronze jewelry, but then again, I don't need any jewelry. Enjoy if you like the look.

Awk... Just bronze.  Saves me money.   Shame, he's a good designer.   Good by silver.  Nice knowing you.

I have 2 of his Tubie bracelets and they are very nice, comfortable to wear, and reasonably priced! I like them a lot!

@FranandZoe  I've had some of David Markstein's jewelry since the early Spring.  Nothing has turned, still beautiful!

i have a bunch of pieces of clad bronze jewelry from RLM from quite a few years back. they look as good as the day i received them. i am not scared of bronze clad items and i tend to like jewelry with a bit of weight.

Reminder: On Fridays during the Watch and Win livestream at 1:30pm, they announce a 10% off promo code good only until 3pm. The last two weeks they re-used the same promo code of WATCHANDWIN10. Before that it was WATCHANDWIN. Who knows, those promo codes might still be working, so give it a try. I emailed the social team to ask if they could cough up some new different promo codes every Friday for the livestream.

How do you watch and participate?

This bronze junk isn't worth more than 10 bucks.

I bought this style of bracelet last February when it first came out. It may be a smaller gauge than this one. I got the gold clad. I loved it and wore it quite a bit. It didn't "turn" per se, but the gold definitely wore off the lobster claw clasp and didn't look great after about a month or two of daily wear. That bracelet was sterling, not bronze, but it is the same design. The necklace would probably be fine since it wouldn't be in contact with hard surfaces like the bracelet.
