Big Deal Cheaper than the TSV

[ Edited ]

I like many others to purchase A468733 Belle by Kim Gravel Regular Feather Knit Sweater Cardigan in February for $49.98. Today, it is $34.98. I requested a credit for the difference but was told it was past the 30 day period. I will definitely be more decerning in what I purchase from the 'Q', as well as when I choose purchase it.

Re: Big Deal Cheaper than the TSV

I would compare this to buying something in a department store and then it goes on sale or clearance later.  I can't think of any retailer that would give a price adjustment after 30 days.

That is their policy.  You should read it.  https://www.qvc.com/content/information/customer-service.html?type=topic&tid=250700000001337&qq=ft

Sorry but yes, unfortunately That situation is very common to most of us Q shoppers!

A price adjustment three months later? Sometimes I read this board and wonder if I'm in a parallel universe.

@Lisa Faye   Seriously?   Some retailers don't offer adjustments at all on items they sold sale priced. but if you learned to be a more aware of what you really want to pay for what you order, that lesson will be useful for years and years.

I'm surprised anyone who posts here wouldn't know QVC's current policy is to make adjustments within 30 days -  not several months.

Re: Big Deal Cheaper than the TSV

Sure, most retailers won’t credit the difference if an item goes on sale later but I’d have a problem with the fact that the item was just a TSV not that long ago. Seems strange that it is now a big deal for less. I would expect the TSV would always be the better deal. I agree that I will be less likely to assume that in the future.

Re: Big Deal Cheaper than the TSV

@Natureluvr    It's not strange at all that a company follows its own policies.   The hosts are very careful never to say the price of any TSV is guaranteed for 6 months!  It's not.

When any item is guaranteed not to be less for at least 6 months, the hosts apparently are told to say that repeatedly.  Repeating myself -  the TSV price is not guaranteed the same way!

I think it stinks that QVC offered this 3 months ago (possibly slightly less) as a TSV at a "fantastic price" and then turns around and offers it as a Big Deal at a lower price.  That shows you how special the TSV price was.

@rms1954 exactly how was this helpful?  This doesn't address her post/issue at all. It doesn't say anything about price adjustments, etc.
