Re: Belle by Kim Gravel Triple Lux Wide Leg Cropped Pant

[ Edited ]

I own at least 50 pairs of jeans of all lengths, widths, and styles.  But I only have one pair of wide leg crops.  They're in black and I only wear them with a higher heel in a dressier outfit.

Other than that, I don't like wide leg crops.

Kim looks great in them with her high wedge open shoes.

I'll just look online to see if  she has new slim leg or straight leg crops today.

I like them and think they are cute.  However, IMO the petite model has on the wrong size, they look to big for her and thats why they dont do her any favors.  I think a size or two smaller would be better for her.  The legs look huge, much wider than the others.

I think that's why wide leg jeans are not for everyone.  That model you referenced may have a wider waist and smaller hips and thighs.  So she would need the larger size to be able to fit her.

The wide leg jeans looked very baggy on her smaller hips and legs.  They looked like gaucho jeans on her.

Agree totally with a lot of us!  When you are short stature or have short legs, this length isn't flattering! It cuts the leg line off-

If these were closer to knee length, that is better for me and better for hot summer weather, might be tempted.
Anyway I cleaned out the closet yesterday, and ihave enough clothes for the rest of my life.... Very sobering!  Pass for me,  but wear in best health if you get them!

I think those are so cute, but I just don't need any more pants right now.  These are the exact type of pants that I love and feel comfortable in.  I just saw KG for the first time in a long time and I couldn't believe how thin she has gotten.  She looks really nice.  I wonder what her method was??  I need it!!!

Not for me! My legs are heavy, I don't wear heels.

@Kachina624   I agree... I'm 5' 2" and many of theses styles look bad on me.  Almost as bad as the high low hems on tops.  Guess I will be wearing what I already have.   🤷🏻‍♀️

Agree with all who claimed the wide leg crop is not flattering on shorter figures. I am 5’4 and I can pull off a pedal pusher length and full length pant but crops and even ankle length pants are NOT a good look for me.

I donated all my crops, capris, pedal pushers, etc., etc.  Only wear full length pants and in the summer dresses or skirts which I find to be much cooler than any sort of pant.

Decades ago I had a pair of wide leg crops, aka, gauchos and I think I wore them twice--just awful.
