Re: Barefoot Dreams TSV - October 31, 2025

Another throw; just what my family doesn't need. Last year they kindly hinted their house has all the throws they need. I got the message!

I have this throw; soft but too small and I am only 5'.

No more throws for me or my friends and family. Everyone I know said the same thing "no more".

Last Christmas I received 8 throws. I donated them to our women's shelter.

Re: Barefoot Dreams TSV - October 31, 2025

I bought a Barefoot Dreams blanket when it was a TSV in year's past.

I keep my heat very low during the Wisconsin winters - just because the bill adds up quickly if I don't, so I rely on blankets during the day to keep me warm. The one I have, I am barely able to wrap around me without holding it in place. That is how small it is.

I have also noticed that Barefoot Dreams is not very warm. Nor does it retain heat that well.

When my cats sleep on my Berskshire Blankets and then get up to leave, those blankets are SO WARM from where they were laying! That isn't the case with the Barefoot Dreams blanket.

As for the texture of the blanket. Sure, it's kind of squishy and stretch and soft  - but I don't think that is a good-enough trade-off for the price. Especially when you factor in the size and the fact it's not very warm.

All in all, I think Barefoot Dreams is kind of just a gimmick and they rely on the fact that rich, celebrities wear their brand to sucker us "normals" into buying it.

These are not worth the price.  Go to Nordstrom Rack and you will find something similair and it is BFD probably bigger for the same price and you can touch it and really see what you are getting.

throws are everywhere

all sorts of prices

all sorts of quality

i see no reason for me to bash any of them

i certainly would not insult folks who like or buy something

wonder why folks do that?

@TheMemphisVette   And I wonder why you post criticisms of people who are just expressing their opinion.  I see no "insulting."  Why would anyone be insulted by remarks made by a perfect stranger??

I still think you're a QVC employee, maybe a host???

@TheMemphisVette   Hmmm. I don't see one post here that insulted anyone's choices or anyone personally for that matter.  Where do you get this?  Was the offending post removed and I missed it?

Way too small, no wonder the price is low for BD, would make a nice baby blanket.
