Re: BagPodz TSV - December 21, 2025

[ Edited ]

I just ordered a set of the grey for DH...

This will be helpful for him when he drops off things to his Mom at the assisted living facility and when he goes to Costco for our groceries.

For the large items (like meats - the 15-20 lb loins for example) he gets at Costco, he uses the XLarge insulated canvas/cloth bags I bought years ago.

So many of the various retailer reusable plastic bags have holes and we wind up double bagging them.

good grief --tuned in to watch David go on a tangent about how many ways you can hang the bag thing on stuff--even his belt!!! OMG thought he would stick one of those bags on his head and do the happy dance!!! All day of showing how to use this item--really-?

They seem to have pluses and minuses. The reusable ones the stores sell usually get pretty heavy if you aren't paying attention and stuff them. On the other hand bags that you can have stand open are easier to bad with. I don't think our self checkouts even have the bag holder things anymore. But then these easily go in the wash. I guess handy and easy to keep around for certain needs.

Personally I don't buy that much so I have like a box with straps that I use. I carry it as my shopping basket and then everything goes back in to carry out.

@Kachina624   Those Frakta bags yiu posted are nice but they serve a different purpose and are very very big,  not everyone buys groceries in bulk.

@Teddixat.  I use them for soft goods, not groceries.
