On 10/26/2014 birkin baby said: I get what y'all are saying,SoftRain and Johnnyyeager, but it just as nuts on the other end too.People truly do the exact same things y'all describe but they worship her instead....everything she does,wears,eats,likes,posts,sells.... it's all perfection. That's actually just as obsessive. People on Facebook were oohingq and aching over her armpit the other day...she posted a pic....someone said she had a beautiful armpit...lol...that is way funny. As far as Josie being the new punching bag by posters??? It's not about her beauty...it's just about her skimpy outfits....and as much I love gettin my" Skimpy" on, even I think she looks out of place selling body creams in those dresses. But people rag on Jamie Kern too.... about her clothes? It's not just LR and Josie. I think any comments, about her QVC persona is fair. Who even knows (or cares?) about her personal stuff??? Mostly her adoring fans.
Yes, you're right birkin baby... that to be obsessed either way is "just as nuts" to quote you. However, I'd rather be admired than picked apart on many levels, as some of these women do... not only to Lisa, but some of the other hosts, as well. Of course, I understand there are other hosts that get picked on, too, but I was focusing on Lisa as this thread was about her. I guess I just find it petty when the hosts clothing style is a nasty topic of discussion. Or how they wear their hair. And, yes, the "mean girls" are not picky when it comes to an easy target. You said "any comments about her QVC persona is fair", that may be true on a discussion board, but I still find it cowardly to talk so rudely behind a computer screen. I doubt if any of them actually speak directly to their coworkers, bosses, or neighbors this way. I'm sure with their "fair" opinions they must be closely monitoring hair, makeup, clothing and the personalities of people they deal with on a daily basis. Let me be clear, obsession whether adoringly or nasty is strange to me. But, some of the women here behave as if they actually hate Lisa's sheer existence. Scary.....!! And, as far as Josie Moran goes, I hope she ignores everyone and wears whatever she wants!!!! And, for those focusing on her clothing, I'd suggest they spend that time cleaning out their own closets! You said, "who even knows or cares about her personal stuff? Mostly her adoring fans" I beg to differ, as it appears to be that it goes strongly both ways. I've read some ugly insinuations about Lisa's personal life on here. She is a stranger to all of us, and I guess my sensitivity usurps my ability to just ignore all of this silliness!

Yes indeed, life will go on... We can only hope that for some it'll involve more than, as the saying goes, showing their 'backside' on the message boards...
What a nice sentiment, OP. For the most part I too have enjoyed Lisa for many years and will also miss her. I join you in wishing her a bright future...

You sure have a knack for making a point!

I'm sure some would put it a bit differently, but hey, it is what it is...

It's interesting how many of you ASSUME you understand why people do not like and admire Lisa. You list all of the reasons you " know" that they don't. Truth be told, it's all assumption on your part. No one really has no idea what Lisa means or represents to every individual and the reasons people may not like her are as varied as each individual themselves. It would be best if everyone didn't try to play armchair psychologist and post about things they know nothing of but just assume.
It's okay if people don't like her. It's not mandatory that everyone does. If they post it here you should just skip over it. Rather you like it or not, they have as much right to post their feelings as you do yours. Just because they don't agree with you does not permit you to attack them and write unkind messages.
The sooner all of you learn this and abide by it the better all of these threads will be and we will be a much more cohesive group of posters and much of the childishness on here will dissipate, and maybe much of the hatefulness will disappear for good. One can hope.

Hi Remee...I wish I thought you were right. But, I honestly believe ignoring the hatefulness will not not make it disappear. Unfortunately, these people appear to be riled up just by her presence. I hope when she is gone, the threads will end, and hopefully a new victim won't emerge. I, however, am done chiming in...it just saddened me to read all the negativity. You're right it's okay if people don't like her. Freedom of speech on both sides..I understand that. But, the "words" here reminded me of the bullying our young people are getting online. Some of us who have children, see it first hand. I don't consider myself an armchair psychologist, just a concerned, sensitive human being. But, I am forever done with this whole issue. I, fortunately, know when to stop.
