LR has been at QVC for a long time; I am sure she will be missed by many but I am also am sure she is leaving because she has a new opportunity to pursue in her career....I hope she is wildly successful and happy in her new ventures.

She didn't say it wouldn't ... just writing her sentiments. Why be so snarky?

Just using the word Lisa is like chumming the Snarks.

Too funny Johnnyeager...and so true.

OP- I will miss Lisa too.

Always wishing Lisa well. Wonderful personality and presence. She certainly knows how to (sincerely) sell products, too, which is a 'plus'.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Lisa is my favorite host. I like her so much because I "get" her. She's real. I am hoping that she will come back every holiday to do her Christmas shows as a vendor perhaps. I will miss her greatly.

Opinions of her sure vary. Some call her fake and you find her to be real. I think she will do very well at whatever she tries because I think she is a hard worker, and basically, a nice person. If anything, I think she might be too obsessive compulsive for my tastes.

I agree...it's weird that people don't like her "personally" based on her presentation on a shopping channel. I would understand if they didn't enjoy her shows based on how she introduces the items...but no, it's about what they perceive as her personality, how she wears her makeup, how she stands, her hair, her nails, how she speaks, her clothes, how she's aging, her weight.....it borders on bullying and so "mean girls" like in middle school. I remember it was the prettiest and the smartest girls that were picked on the most. I guess some of those bullies just got older, but didn't change.

SoftRain, I agree with you. You have used the same analogy that I have used when describing some of these women's views about a person that they don't know at all, outside of obsessively watching her on a home shopping channel and then picking apart everything about her. It's actually somewhat scary that people actually allow themselves to become absolutely consumed with a person who doesn't even know they exist. I don't know when Lisa is leaving, but I have seen threads that have been started in regards to Josie Maran's clothing choices/story about argan oil, so looks like they have a target in Josie upon Lisa's departure.

I get what y'all are saying,SoftRain and Johnnyyeager, but it just as nuts on the other end too.People truly do the exact same things y'all describe but they worship her instead....everything she does,wears,eats,likes,posts,sells.... it's all perfection. That's actually just as obsessive. People on Facebook were oohingq and aching over her armpit the other day...she posted a pic....someone said she had a beautiful armpit...lol...that is way funny. As far as Josie being the new punching bag by posters??? It's not about her beauty...it's just about her skimpy outfits....and as much I love gettin my" Skimpy" on, even I think she looks out of place selling body creams in those dresses. But people rag on Jamie Kern too.... about her clothes? It's not just LR and Josie. I think any comments, about her QVC persona is fair. Who even knows (or cares?) about her personal stuff??? Mostly her adoring fans.
