got the bigger strands of these yrs ago.. i like them, but the battery pack is too big to "hide" hope this battery pack is smaller, will have to check these out....

The key being if that's really the case, as you said. I have had zero luck with batteries lasting for the amount of time stated on battery operated items I have purchased and I only buy top quality batteries. For the most part, except for tea lights, I just don't want anymore of this battery operated stuff.

You can go broke buying all these batteries plus I just think of how many are sitting in landfills.

I didn't see this before I posted my comment above. None of my Winter Lane stuff lasted like they said it would. Neither did my Jeffrey Banks flameless candles. Those were particularly horrible and I gave a set of them as a gift.

These lights take 3 AA batteries, so the battery pack can't be too small. Wonder why they don't use the flat batteries, like a big watch battery? I have battery operated items at home that use those flat batteries (not lights like these) & they last a long time.

Thoughts on the dark color wire....does it make a difference....would not want it to show

@avid shopper, I agree or I would have purchased them. I have 4 sets from elsewhere and they all have the very thin silver wire. I don't want the wire to show up. Otherwise, they are a good deal if you are putting them in with some greenery, etc.

I have some I bought from another channel a month or so ago that are 10 ft., more lights, silver wire, more twinkle option modes and they came with a remote. I love them. The remotes are wonderful. I'm a tiny bit worried about the green wire with these ... but I ordered five sets of clear and two multi so we'll see. I do wish they had remotes though.

I have 4 sets I purchased recently at a gift shop made my a different manufacturer with a 6 hour timer. I have 10 foot with 60 lights on it that I paid 14.99.

The TSV is 3 6 foot and has 54 lights total from what I heard on the show. So, in essence, you get 18 feet with 54 lights for 19.92 and my 10 foot strand has 60 lights on it for 14.99.

After calculating this, I think I'll stick with the brand I have. They would be way too sparse for me.
