Re: Apple MacBook Air TSV - August 6, 2024

Agree!  Check around!  I need a new IPad Mini and am holding off until fall to see if they introduce a new one!  I LOVE my mini but am most fond of the Mac Air over anything I've ever used.

I have the biggest one and the screen is wonderful but it is a little heavier.  I use a lap desk with it, never did with the smaller one.  Have used nothing but the Air models since 2011.  Left the frustrating world of Microsoft at that time after 28 years.

I have this exact MacBook Air that I purchased on Amazon back in April. I paid just under $900.00 at the time , but no extras which I really don't need or want.

@haddon9 since the extras the Q is offering are not Apple branded extras you came out on top big time. You can get 3rd party extras Q is selling from Amazon cheaper than the Q.

@DJs mom That's for sure!  Most of those extras I would never use.....get what you really need on Amazon for so much less!

@Sooner I feel reasonably sure that a new iPad mini is coming out this fall.  Amazon just dropped the price of the mini 6 to a lower price than it was even during their recent Prime Days.

I had to get the iPad mini 6 and couldn't wait for the mini 7 to come out.  It will be here tomorrow. My charging port was starting to get wonky on my iPad mini 5 (my fault), and while Apple would give me $135 for a trade in (which after they examined it, they gave me the full amount--kind of shocked about that with the port issue), I bought a refurbished mini 6 with 256gb of memory.  I was able to take advantage of my state's sales tax holiday, so saved another $40 there.

I would have liked to have been able to wait so I could get the new iPad mini 7 but was afraid my old iPad would stop charging, and then it wouldn't be worth much of anything to trade in.

@Ainhisg WOW thanks for the info and I know you will love your new one!  I have a 5 from 2020 and it is going strong.  I like to trade while I can get something for a trade in--so I was looking then decided to wait.  May have to look again.  I was thinking orange so I could find it in amongst the books in my house!  Woman Embarassed

@Ainhisg I have an iPad mini 5 and I have noticed that it is getting very slow. Since it still works well besides the slow issue and I just purchased a new MacBook Air a few months ago, I'm going to wait a while before getting a newer version.

I would love to get am iPad mini 7 but if I wait another year, who knows if they will have an 8 version out next September.... I might go for that.

Not in the market and no idea on comparability, but Best Buy is selling some Mac Books for $799.

Re: Apple MacBook Air TSV - August 6, 2024

I purchased my first ever MacBook and iPad from QVC.  My MacBook is the 256gb with the M1 chip, but Justin has said there's really no difference between it and the M2.

At the time, I didn't know enough about Apple products, so I thought the Q deal was good.  I must admit though, I use my 10th Generation iPad everyday, not my MacBook.  Had I known how handy the iPad is beforehand, I doubt I would've got the laptop.  I enjoy the touchscreen aspect of the iPad.😃❤️

Anyone deciding to purchase will not be disappointed in Apple.  I never knew what I was missing until I got one.😃

@cheriere QVC is never a good deal on when it comes to Apple products. Apple, Best Buy, Target, etc is your best bet, but never QVC.
