Anyone else received TSV Reflection 800TC sheets?

If so...what did you think? I should have known better then to purchase sheets that were so inexpensive. These are the worst sheets I have ever ordered. Cheap, flimsy fabric that feels like canvas to the touch. I washed as per directions in cold water and warm dryer. Loose threads all over the place and upon checking seams I am sure they wouldn't hold up. I didn't even put them on the bed. If they feel that rough on the hand...who would want to sleep on them? I am stuffing in the box and returning. Already canceled the set I had on back order. They need to get Northern Nights back and offer a blanket refund on shipping to anyone who returns them. I tried to leave a review and keep getting a message that QVC is down and I can call blah, blah, blah. Where is quality control?

Smiley Mad  You have to wash the sheets before you use them?  My 2 colors are both on advance orders even though both were available at the time I ordered them.  Go figure.

Wow, that's saying something for 800 TC..... no I didn't purchase them.  I prefer a quality 50 Poly/50 Cotten blend.  They wash up beautifully and wear like iron.  I have just never cared for 100% cotton sheets, I've never found any I like the feel of.....  I know I'm in the minority.... @Q4u  I thought the TSV sheets were a cotton/poly blend.  I didn't order them but I got the last 2 NN TSVS and they were wonderful.  Some people probably wouldn't like them if they were sheets of gold.

Ahhhhh!!! Funny you should mention that.  You see that was one of the 'several' things I'd ordered over a period of a few days that WERE SENT TO MY DAUGHTER IN FLORIDA.

Not by my choice but because a QVC order taker changed (on her own) my address to my daughter's address.  So, everything I ordered automatically (which I usually do) ended up at her house.  I live in Va!

Anyway, I usually wash the sheets first and then take them to my dry cleaners and get them pressed.  I don't like any wrinkles on the sheets and like them a little stiff (like in a hospital).

I would like to do that with these if I every received them.  I will say I've ordered from QVC in the past 1000 thread count sheets also.  I said I wasn't going to order the higher count sheets anymore because it makes my washer go crazy (lop-sided) they are so heavy.  But, obviously, I changed my mind.

I like the look and feel of the Northern Nights Wrinkle Defense sheets in 700 thread count. I have several colors.  They feel soft.  I have washed them often enough now, especially pillow cases, and they are holding up fine and mostly colorfast.  I did have a problem with one fitted sheet though, it got a pull in it which may have been partly my fault due to a sharp toenail but still a bit disappointing to get that long pull.  that was in the denim color but I have other colros which look great and have held up including eggplant, light blue, buttercup yellow and sea mist.   The eggplant in particular is a stunning color.

I think it is your best interest to wash first.  New sheets always have a lot of particles and dust in them from processing so a wash and dry is something I always do first.  I do the same with new clothes, towels, etc.

When I put new sheets on the bed, it the only time I ever get to sleep on ironed linens.  I do wash the pillow cases and new towels.

Yes, I wash all soft goods before using or wearing. I am glad I did. It showed the bad seams, loose threads and they actually got rougher in finish after washing. Smiley Sad

Yes, they are 60/40 cotton poly.
