ON Amazon,the Echo at this price is reconditioned.(unless I'm reading it wrong?)

Refurbished is available to ship now at 170.99.  If you want a new one, it will be available on June 9th for 179.99

Are you talking about QVC or amazon?  Is this TSV new or refurbished?

i would not buy it. when i was watching it to find out what it was they guy had to tell it five time to add something to the shopping list and it did not even do it. I do not need anything like that? I could just do it myself. we have become lazy depending on thing to do for us? why cannot we just look it up ourselves. big waste of product that half the people would not use would collect dust on a shelf.

If it was refurbished, it would have to be sold as such.  I've had my Echo since January of last year and love it.  If you only used it as a speaker, it would be money well spent.
