I'm new to this phone. Question: do I have to turn the wifi on and off when it's free and then not? I have wifi at home, but when I travel, do I turn it to mobile? thanks for any responses.

I only turn on Data/WiFi when I'm going to use it, because it helps a charge last longer. If I'm home or somewhere there is free WiFi, I turn it on to use it. If I want to use it somewhere I don't have WiFi, I turn the data on.

I put the settings icon on my home screen so it would be easy access to do that. You don't need Data or Wifi to just use it like a phone.
