Item# K337595  $329

Ninja SLUSHi 5-in-1 88 oz Professional Frozen Drink Maker w/ Bag

I am curious, is there that much demand for this expensive machine that they made it a TSV?

I even sent the link to a couple friends with kids and they said no way would they spend that much money for a slushy machine. Plus, no space to store it (Which is what you would likely be doing once the newness wore off LOL)

No way!  I have the Creami Deluxe and it has a slushi function.  Paid a lot less than that for it at Costco.  Well, actually, I didn't pay anything for it.  My husband bought it for my birthday, LOL.

I hope not. The weather just got nice. I want as much winter as we can get before summer.

Don't companies such as Ninja pay QVC in order to air their product as a TSV?

That could explain all the vacuums and air-fryers.

Personally, I have a $30 shaved ice and slushy maker from Target that works just fine. They're available on the Target web site for anyone who's interested.

There's currently a $350 Ninja one on the Target web site that comes with a $50 Target gift card.

If you have a Vitamix, you can make frozen drinks with it! You don't need another gadget! I make wonderful, strawberry daquais with my Vitamix!

Re: 10/19 Ninja Slushy Machine

I agree that this seems more like a summer treat. But 7-11 is down the street and I could probably go there 150 times and still spend less than this. I also have a generic shaved ice maker that I got at a garage sale for $5. And I think I still have a Cooks Essentials smoothie maker in a cabinet somewhere that I bought 20 years ago. It was probably a TSV for about $40, lol. So I'm all good on smoothie makers. I plan to avoid watching the presentations, otherwise I might get a craving and have to go to 7-11. I think this TSV would be good if you really like frozen margaritas, because 7-11 doesn't have alcoholic flavors. Yet.

Easy pass for me, liquids you want to freeze have to contain 4% sugar in them or the machine can actually sense it and won't work.   I looked in the owner's manual and one can use some syrups, like agave, but things like Splenda won't work.  Sorry, QVC!

I watched part of the presentation. You can only put in liquids with sugar and it will take 1/2 hour to freeze. No fruit or ice cubes like you can put in other drink blenders. Sounds like even plain yogurt would be a no-go.

They were talking about using coffee for drinks, but the coffee would need to contain a good amount of milk and sugar. Plain coffee won't work.

Taking it apart to clean it does not look like a fun time.
