this is one determined woman.

she lost so much weight before the surgery on her own.

can't help but like and admire her. 

what a difference between her and some of the other people on this journey who constantly cheated and blamed everyone else for their rotten situation.

too bad her husband left her in the end.

I agree @catlover.  She was very determined and did so well, even with temptation around.  I would love to see an update on her in a year or so.  I hope she continues to be strong.

I thought the same thing. But I guess once in awhile they have to show someone who is willing to do the work and succeed. After so many of the others who want to continue with their former habits and expect to lose weight.

I have one question. I caught a portion of the show in the beginning. There was a picture of Tamy with a baby in a hospital bed. And a young boy was also in the picture. Did she have two boys? Is the other boy grown and that is why he isn't part of the story?

I can't think of anything worse than to be  trapped in a mountain of fat...of course I know there are worse suffering in the world, but this is just such a degrading way to exist, the people must hate themselves, and everyone else

I've got to give her a lot of credit for doing as well as she did under the circumstances she was in. She seemed like a genuinely nice lady as well.

She did extremely well on the program, and I do hope that we see an update and that she continued to lose weight.  It also appeared that she was coping much better on her own than she thought that she would.

I was routing for her.  She was determined.  Hope she makes goal.

Have to look at her situation this way too.

She also lost almost 200 lbs. when her cheating husband left her for someone else.

Hope to see her close to her goal of 170lbs. when the show does future updates.
