For the first night most of the dancers were pretty evenly skilled with the exception of 2 or 3 couples. I think Robert and Whitney will be fun to watch.

I finally watched and am surprised Hilaria said she broke her hip 16 years ago, gave up dancing and then had 7 kids???  Okayyyy.  I agree that the kids did not look happy and perhaps Alec is a strict disciplinarian.  They seemed awfully sad and maybe mad, poor kids.  Robert Irwin was very good but hate the exaggerated expressions. Also going forward I hope he ditches the khaki.  His sister looked great.

Hillaria has a tendency to kind of bend the truth so who knows.  Based on the types of dances Gleb leans toward and his past dances with other females and his looks and reputation, add into that Alec's temper, this may be the couple to watch!  haha

Totally agree about Robert's expressions.  I saw them on some talk show and he was hard to watch.  The same over the  top expressions during the interview.

It looks like this season is going to be fun! I plan on doing my own interpretations in my living room! I'm waiting for prince night!

I haven't watched DWTS in many years, but decided to watch it last night.  Other than one or two, I don't know who these people are.  It kind of defeats the notion that these are stars.  

I also miss the original dancers.  They were much more fun to watch.  

I don't mind Derek as one of the judges, but what in the world is going on with Carrie Ann.  She's borderline obnoxious.  The screaming, the yelling and the jumping up and down was so difficult to watch.  

I remember watching her on The Talk and she was pleasant to listen to and I enjoyed her being one of the panel.  This rendition of her is light years away from how she used to be.  

The only reason I might continue to watch this season is to see Robert Irwin dance.  He is very talented and lots of fun to watch.  I hope he wins the season.
