Yes!!! And Chris Carter is doing it. It's going to be just six episodes but hopefully they'll be six amazing episodes.

It's similar to what Showtime is doing with Twin Peaks, bringing it back for a limited run, but I don't know who has signed on for that yet and the casting will be everything.

I'm probably the one person who never watched x-files, but I know how popular a show it was and STILL people talk about it! Wasn't there also a movie?

Anyway, I'm glad for the fans that there will be special episodes. I don't think people were done with this show when it ended.

You're right, there was a movie, but it was really bad. I just looked at rottentomatoes and it only got 31% positives, that's one of the lowest I've ever seen.

Chickenbutt, did you try it and not like it or you never saw an episode? Because maybe try it again now, I've found at different places in my life my tastes change. Like I did not like Friends when it was on originally, I was the only person I knew, and then years later I caught up and love it.
