Re: Empire. Used to love it, but don't like the direction it...

I tried to watch a show (can't even recall what channel it was on) called Versailles. I thought it would be like a French version of The Tudors. The sets were so dark, the dialogue so uninteresting, that I gave up after about 20 minutes and took it off record series.

I just finished the first episode of Timeless and really liked it so I'm giving it a chance.

Re: WHAT HAVE YOU STOPPED WATCHING?

[ Edited ]

I don't waste my time with fiction shows, including sitcoms. Have not watched any of them for years. Often, there is nothing to watch, but I seek out news, history, antiques (American Pickers, Antiques Roadshow), archaeology, documentaries, natural history, music, some paranormal topics. On the light side, I have enjoyed The Little Couple and sometimes Sister Wives.

Re: WHAT HAVE YOU STOPPED WATCHING?

Once Upon a Time.  I used to love that show so much.  The first season or so, I thought it was so imaginative and exciting.  After awhile, it felt like they were grappling with where to go and how to continue.  They were bringing in every Disney-like character, every fairytale character, people who were bad, were good, then were bad, etc., etc.  It just became tedious and stupid.

Re: WHAT HAVE YOU STOPPED WATCHING?

Shows I want to give up, but I've got so much time invested, they used to be great and I'm afraid I'll miss something:

HTGAWM*

Grey's Anatomy*

Pretty Little Liars

*I think Shonda Rhimes may have lost her magic

I DVRd Chesapeake Shores, never watched & deleted

Still have to watch: This Is Us, The Good Place

I watch parts of The Voice but lose interest the further into the season it gets.

I've stopped watching any shows on network tv. Can't stand them.

The Good Place

Quantico

Once Upon A Time

Not sure if I will continue watching Timeless. I need to watch another episode.

I couldn't get through an entire episode of The Good Place. Very dissappointed

because I like Kristen Bell.

I didn't even attempt MacGuyver.  Loved the original (still do in re-runs), no need to see the new version.

I lasted 5 minutes with Lethal Weapon only because I was in a hotel room and couldn't find where I left the remote.

The only show left on network tv that I watch ... but not for long.   I just want to see what grandma is gonna do with those knives.

Use to watch Grey's but that's gone off the rails, too.

Never heard of most of the shows anyway ...

QVC.  Boring repeats of uninteresting stuff.  Hardly any 14k gemstone jewelry anymore either!

Re: WHAT HAVE YOU STOPPED WATCHING?

I really wanted to like The Good Place, I really like Kristen Bell, but she is wasted in this show.  I hope she finds the right show for her because I think she is naturally funny.
