I thought the wrong person went home, too, but on the Andy whatever show after the judges said it was because he made pizza/flat bread.  His choice of dish is what sent him home.  They felt it wasn't the thing to make on an open flame.

@VaBelle35 , Mainly, he put too much "stuff" on it, as he did in the season he was on, same mistake.

I do recall that they said that re Joe when he was on before but LeeAnn's was just undercooked I think if I recall correctly.  I guess I don't like her to begin with and never did.  LOL

Pretty boring so far.

Neither am I. I'm watched through the first episode, no excitement at all IMO. Don't think I'll continue watching. Hope next season will have all new chefs.

Jen is probably the only one who jumps out at me as one I do not like.  But then I forget a lot so I imagine, as the season goes on, I'll remember more.  Smiley Very Happy

Tom has said many times that the problem is that very few good chefs apply.  That's why you'll see people who work for previous contestants on the show because they are encouraged to apply.

I forgot about Last Chance Kitchen.  Honestly, the best part of this show.  I just saw the trailer that it's back this season.

Now I'm excited.

Hee @chickenbutt  she is so reliably crass I burst out laughing when she came in dead last in the mise en place race after saying "I don't have to think about how to crack open almonds as I won't be in the last group" . . . ooopie!

I enjoyed the episode and most of the folks they brought back (except LeeAnne who should have left after dumping olive oil directly into an open flame).  The only one I don't remember is Nini but apparently she's the designated moderator for the episode as that's pretty much all she did this time around . . . Smiley Very Happy

I am team Bryan Voltaggio if for no other reason than he has had to spend his life trying not to strangle his unbelievably gifted but relentless brother.

Sort of on the same subject, just read where Floyd Cardoz who won TC Masters died of the corona virus.

May he rest in peace.
