I just happened to catch a show this morning about the Murderer. It was not the movie. But they showed clips of the Dating Game and interviewed the Mom of the young girl murdered.

I am SO GLAD the contestant on the Dating Game found Rodney Alcala "creepy". Who knows what would have happened to her. 

And this guy is suspected to have killed about 130 girls. Did you see the display of all the earrings? And then how many times did they have a trial only to have the ruling overturned? I never heard of this guy until today. Wonder why he wasn't plastered all over the news.

It was!  It was in all the newspapers & national news which also followed the trial.  Most likey it was listed under "National News" in your local newspaper. 

The crime only made the tv "world" news because of the Dating Game tv show.

Not sure if this crime made it to Court TV.
