IMO  a lot of woman are Gold Diggers looking for a rich man. They don't care if they are old or ugly so long they have money.  I would never marry some old ugly fart just because they had money.

@Nightowlz   I tell men I date that I'm not a gold digger and any man can get me a nice Coach purse for a birthday or take me to a county fair to make me happy  .  I've never asked a man to buy me anything and the things I like in life are usually pretty affordable- and if I want something extra nice like jewelry, I buy it for myself .

My MIL asked DH why was I going out with him. His family didn't have much money. Mine had more but was not what I would call rich. My parents didn't want us to get married. The 28th will be our 48th anniversary.

I had problems keeping a date when we moved here. When they saw where I lived they no longer wanted to date. Said they couldn't afford me? My older sister said the same was happening to her. I'm not like that. I couldn't understand why that was happening. I wasn't looking for some rich guy. All the clothes & things I was wearing I paid for myself. I started working at 15.

Women are just playing by the rules established by men in a patriarchal society, don't hate the player, hate the game😂

If we're going to be offended by "gold-digging" women, let's be equally offended by men looking for young trophy wives to be disposed of and upgraded every decade.
