Gary Carpentier on the Voice last night is from Oswego, NY where I live. He was the last contestant on last nights show.

Adam had one more to pick and he made it. He has a nice voice and was very grateful. I hope he does well. He sang the song Home. We knew he was coming up on there but he couldn’t say what the outcome was. I don’t know him personally but love seeing a hometown man doing well.

Anyone have a hometown person on the Voice also this year?

This has been one of my favorite shows. They all make me laugh and forget what is going on in this world right now.

Have a great day today. Our local Hospital has their annual Bazaar today with homemade crafts and foods as well as raffles etc. Smiley Happy

@MKR14...Hi, how are you?  That is so wonderful that a young man from your hometown is on THE VOICE.  I usually watch this show, but haven't watched the audition part this year.  I hope he goes far in this contest.

Keeping my fingers crossed that you get your new computer soon.  I have a feeling that they will have another deal right around the corner, so hang on, lol.

Have a great day and see ya later.

Hello @shell garden.  I had a hard time resisting the TSV computer but knew I wanted an Intel processor with 8GB of ram and a backlit keyboard if I can. I will watch for another deal and I am sure before Christmas I will find what I want. I love the colors on the laptops but I may have to focus more on the inside also.

Hope all is well with you and you still are enjoying your laptop also. So glad it is a great computer and so pretty.

I was pleased that Gary from our city got chosen on the Voice. The newspaper has been following his journey but we didn’t have an ending until last night. He recently got engaged and she was crying as much as he did as they were very thankful. They have some good singers this year. Always a favorite show of mine.

I am heading over to the local Hospital today. Just going to their Bazaar and not being admitted for a change! I always like to go the first day of the bazaar and I haven’t been able to make it there the last few years. I will get to see many of the people I know from working there for many years. That is where the physicians offices were when I worked for them. I am excited to go and have some me time today.

My husband turned 71 yesterday and still looks around 55. We spent the day just relaxing at home.

Take care and hello to all my forum friends. Smiley Happy

Gary did such a great job last night!!  I didn't see all of the contestants, but I did see that he was Adam's last pick.  Very talented, and both he and his fiancee seem like such grateful people.  Hope he goes far.

@MKR14....Happy Birthday to your dear husband.  I hope you both had an enjoyable day.  And, it seems like today will be even more fun at your Bazaar.  Good for you.

Yes, keep on checking out the computers and always make sure you get what you really want.  Because if you aren't happy, then you have just wasted your money.  I am still loving my computer and hope they do offer that again.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

He was very good but there was a black guy (don't know his name) that was on a little before him that was superb.  His voice gave me chills and he ended up going with Adam.  A lot of excellent singers this season so it will be fun to watch.  Cat Very Happy
