“The Incredible Dr. Pol”—Series Finale

The series finale of the long-running Dr. Pol series will air tomorrow night (7/6).

From what I can read, it was apparently cancelled by National Geographic Wild/Disney.

I know that the series and the Dr.'s veterinary practices are controversial, but I also know many have enjoyed the series for years.

I think Dr. Pol will be a regular on The Incredible Pol Farm series. He's not done yet...LOL!

Pol Farm series is on hold b/c Charles was hurt.

We watch and rewatch a lot. If we lived closer, we'd see him as our vet. Sorry to see the show ending. 🙁

I haven't seen the show in a long time but used to watch it weekly. I read he was going to get another show but then never heard anything else about it. I like Dr. Pol and the others on the show. You can learn a lot about animals by watching.

I hope so and agree with you. I can't see him ever completely retiring from veterinary medicine. Maybe slowing down, but not out completely.

Also, apparently Dr. Nicole has gone to another practice after she had her baby.

I watch the reruns all the time. It's honestly one of the few shows I never tire of, no matter how many times I've seen it.

Sorry to see Dr. Nicole go. It was never mentioned who the baby's daddy is. I guess she wants to keep family matters private.

Me too. I didn't go into it extensively, but I'm supposing that like Dr. Emily she would like to have more time with her family now. The Pol practice requires long and hard working hours. And I do think she values her privacy since she rarely shared much of her personal life.

Dr. Brenda has always guarded her personal life as well. I've always had the feeling that she would have been happy if there had never been a tv show!

If it wasn't for Charles, the show would not have happened. At first Dr. Pol didn't want to have anything to do with a reality show but Charles talked him into it.
