No, that show is not going to be on NatGeo Wild. He confirmed it won't be happening. I wish.

I watched this show weekly for years, but it has run its course for me as something I want to see every Saturday night.

Growing up on a small farm, I enjoy the farm calls more than the daily office practice situations. I get annoyed very easily in situations when people have animals but don't seem to know how to take care of it beyond feeding it.

What peeves me is when someone brings in their injured dog, hit by a car or ran into something stoopid and the owners say: "I don't know how this happened." It's usually an intact male dog who takes off running and gets hit or does something stoopid to get hurt. Owners don't realize that neutering can take care of that kind of behavior and if they don't do it then they should make sure their dog can't get loose.

What always got me were the farmers running cattle that didn't even have a head catch. And the animals weren't corralled that the vets were there to see. Geez, it was hard enough for us to get a vet to make a farm call, let alone expect them to wrangle the cows or horses too. Of course, that part might have been staged for the show.🤷‍♀️

And the puppies that would come in so sick and the owners were terrified they had parvo. Well, for goodness sake, vaccinate the poor little things and you won't have to be in tears about whether they're dying! Not to mention you would have saved yourself a lot of money on top of it.
