I was hoping someone would start this thread it was so good last night I realized the breaking up of the firm it was to reduce the cost of the show and to eliminate those who no longer served a purpose... Seeing David return gave me mix feelings I guess Michael Fox is no longer apart and the others unless they add some more in later.
Now the show also gave me mixed feelings it was exciting, suspenseful, but never with out a touch of PC which is sickening for me anyways... but the devil always needs to be in the details to stir the pot.... If we were left to ourselves with out pitting one against another we would all enjoy each other for what we each bring to the table!

Too bad webbie blocks the words I want to use. Didn't like the episode. Just when I thought ok we can finally move on. How many times are they going to have the same client quit their firm? The writers really must be lazy or bored that all they do is strip stories from the news to play and give us the same old clients doing the same things they always do.
BORING. I think it's time for me to delete my season pass.

Well thank you for another point of view maybe they haven't finished making changes..
I am sure they wanted to get away from Lamont Bishop, and not lose their other big client
maybe new blood will come in?
I wish Cary would put on some weight he is painfully thin....
whose knows they might be changing the direction her winning and the firm being in the background...
It would be nice if serious issues were driven home for instance the lip service give to rape Kits but never follow through that they mean what they say...
There are other serious issues that could also be addressed
Than it depends how much time Ridley Scott (77) can or wants to contribute to this show...
the lead from NUMBERS, (David Krumholtz) Josh, the campaign specialist has really put on weight

I don't watch the show to get a lecture on the writers values. I watch it to be entertained. I engage in political issues in other ways.

Posting as a fan here!
I watch to be entertained and this show certainly does that! I like each and every character and the writing is awesome. This is my favorite TV show.

You are right but in reality that is not what always happens, today in our entertainment and movies it is always a Johnny one note that is being preached so one can say they watch to be entertain and I guess one is entertain if they are always playing their tune!
Most of the time Good Wife seem to be even handed but now that they moving more into politics how can they avoid not being unless... they are shooting for principles instead of agendas...

It is difficult to watch a show (and I do enjoy this show) that goes into political campaigning without getting into the area of politics.... however, I don't think we are being preached to in a partisan manner.... I think we are learning more about the ins and outs of the process of candidates making decisions and the behind the scenes shenanigans that go on.... that is only part of the program, of course.
I enjoy the litigation aspect of the show.... the cases and how they are approached.
I do not want David Lee to return to the firm.... but it does add tension.... and unpredictability.
I never thought Michael J Fox was good in this series.
I also came from MI and know that there was much corruption. However, I really don't care much for the present form of govt there.

You are right Game-on that part I do like of seeing the inner working is good to inform
Dave is unsettling and creepy ...
When I return to Det. (08) it was in a very sad state at least now it is doing much better and sometimes we have to realize that is a good place to build upon, and each time keep electing those who are going to continue improve more of the situation...
It reminds me a little when Giuliani took over NYC it was cleaned up and a pleasure to live there and walk down the streets and neighborhood, (I lived under the end of Lindsay, Beame, Koch, Dinkins,) Bloomberg did not improve upon it and let it go a little too busy being food cop, but the mayor today is very unreasonable...

If GW continues as it has, it will lose me as a viewer. Too much nonsense, too much politics, too few court cases.
I watch the news, I don't need a tv series to steal it for an easily written script.

I agree with you rain. It is very boring right now. I mean really who cares about her running for office.
